John Lewis Partnership operates flagship stores across London including Oxford Street, Canary Wharf, and Kingston. Christmas retail staff (wrapping gifts, stocking shelves, or assisting customers) and delivery drivers and couriers during the festive rush create numerous opportunities. The Christmas season is the busiest retail period requiring additional temporary staff. Current UK minimum wage is £12.21 per hour with London Living Wage typically higher. Company employs 1,000+ temporary Christmas staff across London locations with established international recruitment programs. Full training provided in customer service, product knowledge, and cash handling. Employee discounts and flexible scheduling available.
Previous retail experience preferred but not essential. Strong English communication skills required for customer interaction.
Please note: Peak trading periods require flexibility including weekends and extended hours during December.
