Okanagan Valley Orchards operates 2,500 acres of apple, cherry, peach, and pear orchards in British Columbia's premier fruit-growing region. The Okanagan Valley produces over 95% of Canada's tree fruits, with harvest season running from June through October depending on variety. Canada's agricultural sector is vital in food production and export, creating seasonal and ongoing demand for various agricultural workers. During peak harvest, the company employs 300-600 seasonal workers including many international participants through the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program. All picking equipment, safety gear, and harvest training provided. Workers participate in piece-rate and hourly wage systems depending on crop and experience level.
Please note: Physically demanding outdoor work requiring ability to work on ladders and in various weather conditions. Previous fruit picking experience beneficial.
Please note: Peak season work from dawn to dusk during optimal picking conditions. Physical fitness essential.
Seasonal worker camps with dormitory-style and private room options. Located within orchard properties with all amenities provided.
