Hardanger Valley Berries operates across multiple locations in the famous Hardangerfjord region, which produces 40% of Norway's fruit. The area is renowned for its pristine natural environment and ideal growing conditions for berries and stone fruits. Surrounded by dramatic fjords and mountains, workers enjoy some of Norway's most spectacular scenery. The company employs approximately 80–120 seasonal workers during peak harvest, creating an international and friendly working atmosphere. Complete work gear provided including berry-picking tools, weather protection, high-visibility clothing, and sturdy footwear.
Please note: Bilberry picking requires stamina for walking on uneven forest terrain and ability to distinguish ripe from unripe berries. Work may involve hiking to remote picking locations.
Please note: This role involves outdoor forest work in varying terrain and weather conditions.
Traditional Norwegian cabins housing 6–8 workers per unit. Each cabin features kitchen facilities, wood heating, comfortable sleeping areas, and common spaces. Basic furniture, cooking equipment, and heating fuel provided.
